Dental Insurance
Cedars Family Dental accepts most major dental insurance plans. We are happy to help you understand your benefits and will submit claims to your insurance company on your behalf. Dental insurance is confusing on purpose, and no two plans under the same carrier pay the same way. Please understand we will do our best to offer estimates for out of pocket expenses but the ultimate cost will depend entirely on how your insurance company processes the claim.

The list below includes our most commonly accepted in-network plans; however, it may not include every plan we participate with:

Cedars VIP Club
Don’t have dental insurance? The Cedars VIP Club is our in-house dental membership plan: a simple way to get quality dental care in Plainville, MA without insurance.
It is designed for patients who are uninsured, self-employed, retired, or looking for an alternative to traditional dental insurance. For one monthly fee, members receive their preventive care and a discount on other treatment.
Membership includes:
- Professional cleanings: two a year, or three to four a year on our periodontal maintenance plan
- Doctor exams and any x-rays your dentist finds necessary
- One emergency exam a year, if needed
- Fluoride treatment for children 12 and younger
- 10% off all other treatment (some exclusions apply)
Plans start at $42 a month for children 12 and younger, $46 a month for adults and $80 a month for periodontal maintenance, plus a one-time $99 activation fee that includes your first month.
Unlike traditional insurance, there are no annual maximums, no waiting periods and no claims to file. Your membership starts as soon as you enroll.
Payment Options
We accept checks, cash or credit cards. We also offer flexible payment plans in office.
Financing Options
If you would like to spread the cost of your treatment, we work with two patient financing companies. Each has its own application and terms, subject to credit approval.

- CareCredit: a health and wellness credit card you can use here and with other providers that accept it.
